Holiday Happenings

Trip to GA to see Grandparents for Christmas......
Mackenzie and Great Granny - Mackenzie was feeling really bad that day

Christmas Day with my Mom's Parents......
Opening her very own purse....she loves pulling things in and out of purses

With My Mom's Dad "GreatGranddaddy"

Giving GreatGrandma something

What the guys did all afternoon

Opening presents

Uncle Philip got her bubbles and she LOVED them

Combing her hair

Christmas Eve with my Dad's Mom and family......
At my Aunt and Uncle's for Christmas Eve -- Mackenzie felt horrible all day but thankfully she perked up for presents

"Christmas Day" at Our house.......
We decided to open our presents to each other before me left for GA....it was such a nice time together...it felt like Christmas to us! She loved her present from her Daddy. He let her go down the aisle and pick it out a week before, so she had forgotten.

When she first saw it

Christmas with the Carpenters.........
Since we couldn't be both places at once for Christmas, we invited all the Carpenters over the Sunday before we left and exchanged gifts with each other. It was a lot of fun, and nice to have the present openings spread out over a week! Mackenzie enjoyed it more too I think.

Her and Uncle Matt-Matt

Christmas Play.......
Mackenzie was a very baaaaad sheep in the play. She refused to keep on her hat, listen to only one song, and left the stage. Matthew is next to her properly dressed! :-)

The Neals...........
We went to see Logan's cousins one Wednesday night while they were all in town. Halle (whom I'm holding) has been prayed for for ten years. Isn't she a dolly?! She was soo tiny and only 6 weeks old!

Carpenter Christmas Cookie Exchange............
We had a beautiful dinner together

Little Miss Ham

Playing games -- My friend Megan was in town ( in the background) for three days. I'm so glad she got to come down and see me from IN.

The Neals (again)..............
We went over after the parade to see Logan's cousin Nevin and his family who were in from Idaho whom we haven't seen for over a year. Dawson (far left) and Mackenzie are 4 days apart in age. This is the first time they had gotten to meet.

The Parade............
My handsome man directing horse traffic -- it was a very nasty day. Logan was in charge of the parade. Fun Fun.

Waiting to see Daddy in his cop car

Already saw him

Leading the Parade...Logan would comment on the beautiful blue lights :-)
